Aritra Chakraborty is an young and upcoming vocalist, who has received Sangeet Shree from Bangiya Sangeet Kala Kendra (2017). He completed his teacher’s training from Bangiya Sangeet Kala Kendra (2018). He took his Taalim from Ustad Ghulam Akbar Khan (2000-2001) and Shrutinandan (2001-2015) under Smt. Sujata Basu, Shri Brajeswar Mukherjee, and Padmabhushan Pt. Ajoy Chakraborty. Presently he is engaged with ITC Sangeet Research Academy with Shri Brajeswar Mukherjee, Padmabhushan Pt. Ajoy Chakraborty. As an instructor of Shrutinandan (from 2013 onwards) and as a scholar at ITC Sangeet Research Academy, he conducted several workshops and classes throughout the country (online/offline).
